There are many video games out there, and it can be hard to find a good game. It can be hard to figure out which video games are good and which ones are bad. The descriptions and pictures can sometimes mislead you about the game. You might think that the game is like one thing, but it turns into something else. So, if you can’t rely on the developers’ words about the game, who’s can you rely on?

The answer is YouTubers. Some of the youtubers make videos about video games called playthroughs. In these playthroughs they show you actual gameplay and tell you about their own opinion on it. So, you won’t just have a flimsy description of what the game was like and its game play, you will have a real idea of what the game is about. I use playthroughs to help me find new games to play alone or with friends. I don’t think I would have gotten these games with the help of Youtubers. Below are 3 amazing playthroughs that made me buy the game.
Phasmophobia Played By GameEdged
The first game is Phasmophobia. In this game, you enter a house and try to figure out what type of ghost is haunting the house before it gets you. Before watching this video, I didn’t think that I would have gotten this game. I’m not a big fan of horror and I don’t like getting scared. But after watching GameEdged play this game with his friends, I realized how easy it was to play and how fun it looked. His video was called “They’re Here | Phasmophobia Gameplay”. I wanted to play this game with my friends and have a good time like them. After I finished watching this video, my friends and I bought and played the game.
I liked this game. It was scary like I thought, but after playing it for a while, it became less scary. My friends and I had a great time playing this game. We have spent hours on this game having fun. If I hadn’t watched the playthrough, it would have been my friends introducing me to this game later, and I don’t know if I would feel the same about it as I do now. I have spent about 60 hours on this game since I bought it and counting.
Scum Played By Fooster
The second game is Scum. Scum is a survival game where you must survive on an island with many obstacles that try to stop you from surviving. Without watching the playthrough, I don’t think I would have gotten this game because of interest and the price tag. While the game isn’t that expensive for a video game, I don’t think I would have been interested in playing from the description alone. But the youtuber, Fooster, made the game look fun and interesting. His video is called “SCUM – Episode 1 – PRISON ISLAND! (Survival Season 1) “. Before I knew it, I wanted to see more of Fooster’s playthroughs about scum and buy the game myself. I liked how realistic the game was and how funny Fooster was. He made the game look easy and fun. So, I got the game.
It took me a bit to get used to the game since it isn’t an easy game. I had a lot of fun while playing this game even though it takes a bit to get used to it. I like how realistic the game was. For example, how you need to eat different types of food to get all the correct nutrients to live. In this game, you can’t survive on apples, you need to eat different things like meat. I enjoyed this game and even got my family interested in playing too. If I didn’t watch that YouTube video, I wouldn’t have gotten the game and had so much fun. I had about 70 hours of fun spent on this game.
PowerWash Simulator Played By Drae
The third game is PowerWash Simulator. This game is where you clean using a power washer. I have been interested in getting a power washer in real life, but good ones cost too much, but then I saw someone play this game. The youtuber was called Drae and his video is called ”Washing Away The Secrets of An Ancient Civilization – PowerWash Simulator”. I haven’t watched Drae before this video. He showed me how satisfying and fun power washing looks. Then I realized my dream of getting a power washer at a cheaper price can come true. So, I got the game.
The game was easy to play, and I was quickly washing everything. I spent hours having fun and watching something satisfying. Before I knew it, I had finished the game, but I still wanted to keep playing. So, I did. I would like to play this game with my friends to have fun together, but none of them have bought this game yet. I have spent 135 hours on this game, and I plan to spend more hours having fun.

Above are 3 YouTube playthroughs that made me buy the game. After watching these videos, I could only think about how much I wanted to play that game. I had so much fun playing these games, and I recommend them to everyone interested in video games. But don’t just take my word for it, watch these videos yourself. If you find a new game that you are interested in, watch a playthrough to see if you are still interested. Even if it’s a game you aren’t interested in, you might find that you have changed your mind.
