YouTube Allows Businesses To Do Free Good Deeds and Still Get Paid

Prices have been going up and businesses don’t really have the time or money to do good deeds. They are too busy trying to stay afloat to even think about spending money on other people, not to mention doing services for free. So, how can some businesses do free good deeds, while others can’t? The answer is YouTube. These businesses have figured out a way to do a free good deed for their community while still getting paid to do what they love, their job.

How It Works

They start with a person that they found who needs their services but might not have enough money to pay for it. Then they talk to that person and come to an agreement. The agreement would be what service will be provided, if they are okay with it being filmed, and that it is free. After they agree to those terms, they start filming and doing that service. When they are done, they go home, edit the video, and post it on YouTube.

Eventually, they will get money from the videos they post. The money comes from the advertisements on their video and sponsorships if they have them. At first, it might not be a lot of money, but if they keep posting videos, getting views and subscribers, they will get enough cash to pay for the job that they just did. With this in mind, you might not think that these videos get a lot of views, but after watching some of those videos, I couldn’t stop. They were just so satisfying.

The YouTubers

The first YouTube channel I will mention is SB Pressure Washing. He has a landscaping business. For this YouTube channel, he posts all pressure washing videos. Some of his videos are his good deeds, where he pressures washes people’s sidewalks and roads. He posts these videos once a week. He also has another channel called SB Mowing, where he does landscaping for money and even for free.

The second YouTube channel is Midwest Magic Cleaning. His business is where he cleans houses owned by hoarders. He posts videos where he cleans those houses and even talks about his own experiences, his job, and other random things. In some of his videos, he does free cleanings for hoarders who might not have the money or time to clean it themselves.

The last YouTube channel is Fill’s Lawn Care. He also owns a landscaping business. He posts videos where he cleans up other people’s lawns. A lot of his videos are about him doing free lawn care for people who can’t afford it or people who got scammed by another landscaping business.

Why?

After reading all of this, you might ask why these businesses do this, or I still don’t understand why people watch this. The answer is that it is satisfying. To them and those businesses, the before and after is very satisfying to watch and do. To have something overgrown and dirty cleaned is something that people enjoy watching and doing.

At first, I didn’t understand why mowing the lawn was on YouTube, I thought it was like watching paint dry. Something boring to pass the time. But after watching one video, I was hooked. Anytime I was looking for something to watch and there was a clean or mowing video, I would watch it. It was just too satisfying to watch. I wanted to clean something just like they did and see the end result.

Has there ever been a random YouTube video that you thought was weird, but hooked you in? After reading this article, would you watch one of these YouTubers? Or are there any other businesses that do good deeds on YouTube that you watch?
